Autum is in the air....

By tonight the first day of fall...autum whatever will be here!! Which means that harvest season will take place if it already has not. I know that the farmer that owns land infront of me will be harvesting by the end of the week.

SO!! Tonight on TV is one of my favorite shows, America's Next Top Model!! At first everyone thinks I am really stupid for liking it but I beg to differ! ANTM is related to agriculture more than you know! Make-up is made out of animal by-products. What is animal by-products? Well the by-products definition is :

       : something produced in a usually industrial or biological process in addition to the principal product

       : a secondary and sometimes unexpected or unintended result 

The first one is right, its animals that produce principals that are added to products. Think about it...if you drive a car the tires are made out of hooves ( feet of a animal like cattle, sheep, ect.), make-up is made of fat found in animals. Another by-product is plastic made from corn also know as biodegradable...which means that it can decay by the earth. Hmmm...big words!! I love it! Well time to run! Hmmm its Friday!!

Over the weekend I will be taking a trip to Amish Country!! I can't wait, I love the amish cultural because they rely on farming! Awesome!!

Its Been Awhile!

Hey, I am back! Starting school all over again has been stressful! I have started a website now which I LOVE besides having a blog!! http://farmgirltalk.webs.com/ I need to update it a little bit like I need to update my blog. I wish this was a school assignmet because I would be rockin it!!

Anyways, getting down to business, I am super happy for Lady GAGA!! She stood up to the HSUS because she wore a meat dress! Go Lady Gaga, once again I got this off of beef magazine! Go Beef Magazine!! :)
